I am always a sucker for people painting anything on glass, it always comes up looking the goods and its nice to watch him paint out all the patterns

We went to the hills of Northern NSW to paint a shed and ended up picking 43 wildly grown pumpkins out of the veggie patch..

I will be down in St Kilda this weekend with a stall at Magnolia Square, we will have baby blankets, selected throws and some samples on offer all at market prices. Come down and take a peep if your in the area.




Recently I have been working with Michael Strownix, decorator extraordinaire. Here is his latest installation for the Melbourne Flower Show that we worked on this week, called Hong Kong Garden. Only a mere 12,000 carnations in pink, red and green were used in the making of this stand!









Although the last 3 months have been one of the busiest working times of my life, I have nothing work based to post due to most of it being on a freelance and confidential basis! In between these 50-60 hour weeks I have been lucky enough to see a few very special weddings, celebrate a few milestone birthdays, eat like a king, spend time with my nephew and occasionally visit the pool…





Today I spent sometime in the library and stumbled across Handcrafted Modern by Leslie Williamson which I hadn’t see for a year or so. This book is really great. These shots are from the home of Irving Harper, but detail the paper sculptures he continually makes as a side outlet to his previous industrial design work. Apparently there is a whole barn full of these handmade paper wonders….
